THE MO'HITS WAR- END OF AN ERA, SO WHAT'S UP NOW?

If the twitter postings of Don Jazzy are anything to go by, then nothing need be said no more. It's the demise of Mo'Hits Records/ family like it used to be and the beginning of another era on both sides.

Don Jazzy's -Tweets

Good day friends. So sorry i have been away for long as i have been going through some changes in my life.

It is with a heavy heart that i announce the end of a long Era and the beginning of a new One.

Some of the Rumours U have all heard recently re sad but true.

The way forward now is to make sure i keep bringing you guys more of the beautiful music y'all love to dance to.

And to end d old era i will b donating d proceeds of my production catalogue from day 1 till date to 5 charity organizations. Thanks. IDJA

It's either D-Banj would continue as the new leader of Mo'Hits as a new company with his brother K-Switch as his artist or Don Jazzy will continue as the head honcho at Mo'Hits without D-banj, but with the other members in tow- Dr. Sid, Wande Coal and D'Prince Omoba.

One way or the other, it was a fantastic journey till now and as bad as it might seem now, it might be one of the best things to happen to all. Now Wande Coal's album might receive the priorities that it has always wanted, now D'Prince can have a full body of work released, now also Dr. Sid would get full attention to work on a sophomore album, it's not going to be D-Banj 1st whilst others wait or waste. If feelers we are getting is anything to believe, then it’s a totally new beginning, with Don JAZZY said to have packed out of their former joint abode and never to go back.

From the little we have tried to put together, the reason for the brouhaha is not just one thing, but an accumulation of so many little things that has degenerated so terribly, trying to get anyone to talk is like talking to a brick wall and it’s like everyone has sworn to an oath.

But this much we can say, the whole stress is a combination or a compilation of many things over the years, to worsen matters the duo have not sat down to iron issues out, Don Jazzy is around in Nigeria a lot more, while D-BANJ has being more abroad than ever. To make matters worse there ego on both sides, a particularly a side feeling cheated not necessarily over money, but because the side is kept in the dark about a lot of things.

So bye-bye Mo’Hits, welcome??????
